EMILY

Emily joined What We Eat in 2017. Like Laura, Emily is a “second career” cook. After earning her BA in Art History from Union College, she worked for several years within the field at a gallery and an arts-focused tech startup. But her affinity for cookbooks and love of eating in general just couldn’t be denied.

In 2015, Emily enrolled in The International Culinary Center’s farm-to-table program to make her passion her profession. She then went on to work as a line cook at Tilda All Day and a food stylist at The Jewels of New York. She has also cooked in the kitchens of companies like Food52 and Nourish Kitchen and Table. With Emily’s unique background, it’s no guess why her food is as beautiful as it is delicious.

Favorite foods to cook: Anything seasonal, bright and fun to eat. Emily is a big veggie fan. 

Last meal: Lobster! She’s from Massachusetts.
